Our Vision
Our Vision is for God to establish our Church as “a House of Prayer for all nations. Isaiah 56:7. Matthew 21:13. We desire to see people free from the Pharisee spirit (controlling spirit) for whom the Son has set free is free indeed (John 8:36). Our desire is to see Christ Lifted up (John 12:32 )But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”
We submit to Jesus Christ as the Head of the church and will strive to obey His command that His church should be called a House of prayer. We will not seek our own will — through our own efforts — but we will humbly come before God; with a repentant heart seeking His will.
HOPMI is a non-denominational church led by the Holy Spirit.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14-15)
House of Prayer Ministry is a non-denominational church where we are connecting the people to God through prayer.
What We Believe:
God the Father: one God existing in three manifestations. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. John 1:1
God the Son: We believe Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. He was fully God and fully man. (Luke 1:27, Romans 5:10, Matthew 28:5-9)
The Holy Spirit: Romans 5:5, John 14:16-17
Man is created in the image of God but separated from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God.( Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5)
The Holy Bible to be God’s infallible word.( Matthew 4:4) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God
Salvation: through Jesus Christ. The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
Gifts of the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit has given spiritual gifts that are bestowed on Christians, each having his or her own proper gift (or gifts) to strengthen the body of Christ. (1 Cor.12:1-11)
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. He helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God's will. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4 )
Sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God's character to be developed in us. (Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25)
Deliverance: "And when He had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits,to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of diseases."(Matthew 10:1)
